Big Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Whatever the occasion… you deserve a big a%! chocolate cookie! These are pretty much my crowd pleasers with some modifications but please don’t @ me – I had lots of fails and needed to deliver! ⁣

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour (I used Bob’s Red Mill gluten free)⁣

1 cup nut butter – I used macadamia and WOW⁣

3/4 cups brown sugar (I used coconut because *health* LOL)⁣

1/2 cup maple syrup ⁣

1 chia egg or regular egg (chia is 1 tbsp chia: 4 tbsp water – whisk together and let it sit until congealed)⁣

1 tbsp vanilla ⁣

1/2 tbsp baking soda ⁣

Flakey sea salt⁣

Chocolate of choice⁣

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit ⁣

Combine all ingredients except salt and chocolate⁣

Scoop dough and arrange on a baking sheet with room to spread (recipe yields 9 cookies)⁣

Bake for 10 minutes (ovens vary, they should be lightly browning at edges)⁣

Remove, let cool a little and add chocolate ⁣

Add a pinch of salt and enjoy!
